OSHA / Industry Safety Standards

The OSHA Training Program provides training students on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces. The program also provides information regarding workers’ rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint.

Through this program, students will attend a 10-hour class delivered by OSHA-authorized trainers. The 10-hour class is intended for an entry level position. Through this training, OSHA helps to ensure that workers are more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and their rights, and contribute to our nation’s productivity.
